During the 2023-24 school year, I will be working as an intern at Cards TV located on University of Louisville's campus. Card's TV is our ACCN Broadcast Center. So far, I have loved working at the broadcast center because it has opened my eyes to the behind the scenes of collegiate sports. We are a center with two full control rooms and three additional scaled back control rooms. With two full control rooms, it allows for the broadcast center to produce linear shows which will air on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, or the ACC Network.
During the fall season, I was able to work with a fellow intern on bugging the Women's Soccer game for the season. Bugging is putting the watermark on and off the screen. We use bugs to put the score/time on the screen, commentators’ names, coaches’ info, substitutions names, etc. It is an easy and neat job that I have loved doing.

This was our last home game for women's soccer at the broadcast center. I had a blast getting to work with this crew every week and learning something new. I cannot wait for spring season!

This semester, I had the opportunity to intern at University of Louisville Athletic’s Broadcast Center. My fellow interns, “Nestie’s”, and I, worked on projects such as this ACC Halftime Report for women’s basketball. I was a part of an all-female crew working alongside my co-anchor Rose Rodriguez, host Riley Hemmer, and producer Brianna Ricke. I am love what CardsTV has to offer. Can’t wait to work with my fellow Nestie’s!
